Historical record, castles of Auvergne

A folder published and updated each year by Association, was drawn with 150.000 specimens this year. It is distributed free in the castles of the Road, the offices of tourism and the tourist offices of the Area but also at the national level by the large cultural and tourist organizations like in a certain number of international living rooms.

	What does "the Road" mean ?
		The Road of the castles of Auvergne was created in 1967 per the General Red Arnoux de Maison and Mister de Moroge. The first Association council was composed of: - General Red Arnoux de Maison (castle of the Masonry) - Mr Pechaud (castle of Cordès) - Mr Bruny (castle of Chazeron) - Mister de Saulieu (castle of Davayat) - Madam the Marchioness of Lastic.
	____________________________________________________________ Eleven castles were founder members of association: - Aulteribe - Murol - Chazeron - Opme - Cordès - Parentignat - Effiat - Tournoël - Masonry - Villeneuve-Lembron - La Roche _____________________________________________________________
	The object of this association is to group the owners, representatives or persons in charge for monuments open to the public in Auvergne area, in order to promote by common actions, the historical, architectural and artistic richnesses of these monuments. To this end, Route historical association of the castles of Auvergne will be able in particular: - To organize any demonstration in cultural matter, - To publish and diffuse publications, folders or booklets referring itself to the adherent monuments - To make any useful and necessary contact in order to facilitate the tourist development and the frequentation of the adherent monuments, - To implement, with the profit of the adherent monuments and in collaboration services of the departmental direction of the equipment, effective road signs. - And more generally any direct or indirect activity referring itself to the object above definite. ______________________________________________________________________ Interview with EMMANUEL PENICAUD, Secrétaire Général de la RHCA.
